Small-Group, Trainer-Run Dog Daycare in Cleveland
A structured day, start to finish, run by a Certified Professional Trainer. Never more than 3 dogs out at once.
What Trainer-Run Dog Daycare Looks Like in Practice
Most Cleveland daycares run open rooms holding 15 to 25 dogs at once. Beegan K9 is the deliberate opposite.

Expert Handlers on the Floor, Every Session
Founder Caden Beegan, a Certified Professional Trainer and Paradigm K9 graduate, designed every part of the day and trains the Expert Handlers who run it. Every member of the team is a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT), with Certificates in Canine CPR and First Aid from the American Red Cross.

2-3 Dogs Per Playgroup. Never More.
Groups of 2 to 3, matched by temperament, energy, and play style. With only a couple of dogs out at once, they have room to actually play instead of competing for space.
Learning to Settle Is Part of the Day
Waiting for their turn is its own lesson. Dogs learn to spend their energy when it is time to play and settle when it is not, the kind of impulse control and mental work you will notice at home.

12 Dogs Maximum, Every Day
None of this works without a hard daily cap. At 12 dogs we know exactly how each dog's day went, how much they played and who with, which keeps the whole environment calm and stress free.
What's Included in Every Daycare Day
A 2 to 3 minute compilation of your dog's actual day, not a marketing clip.
Direct Contact With Your Expert Handler
Text or call your dog's Expert Handler that day. And before your dog's first day, the owner calls you personally, never a front desk.
You Always Know Who's Caring for Your Dog

Inside a Small-Group Dog Daycare Day
Every frame shows the real group size: two or three dogs at a time, never a crowd.

Expert Supervision
An Expert Handler reads just 2 to 3 dogs at a time, not 15 at once, so every moment of play is actually seen and understood.

Smallest Playgroups
2 to 3 dogs at a time, using the whole space to play instead of navigating a busy crowd.

Quality Play
Tiny groups mean uninterrupted play, with room to genuinely interact instead of competing for space.

Stress-Free
Routine with no surprises. This is mid-day, not pickup: dogs settle this deeply because rest is built into the schedule.

Real Enrichment
One dog engaged, one asleep on the cot behind. Switching between play, focus, and rest is brain work, and the day is designed around it.

Fenced Outdoor Space
A private, fully fenced outdoor yard, something not every daycare has. Outdoor time is part of every dog's day, in the same small groups.
What "Small Group" Actually Means Here
At Beegan K9, a playgroup is 2 to 3 dogs, matched by temperament, energy, and play style. Most daycares that advertise "small groups" run 10 to 15 dogs per room.
Here is how the day works:
A small group of 2 to 3 dogs gets dedicated play time while the rest of the dogs rest. With no interruptions, the play itself is better, and the dogs waiting are learning too. They get their energy out when it is their turn, and they practice staying calm and relaxed when it is not.
That rhythm does more than tire a dog out. It builds emotional regulation, gives real mental stimulation, and teaches a dog that not every moment has to be high-energy. Better behavior is the natural byproduct of a structured, trainer-run day, not a training class added on top of daycare.
A hard cap of 12 dogs a day across 4,000+ square feet of indoor and outdoor space makes all of it possible. An Expert Handler forms and watches every group.

The day starts with rest, not play. That is exactly why dogs go home settled.
Morning Rest and Settle
Dogs arrive to calm, not chaos. A dedicated settle period lets every dog regulate before the day begins.
Individual Morning Walks
One dog at a time, one-on-one with their handler. No crowded group walks.
Rotating Playgroups of 2 to 3
Matched play sessions with calm rest between each one. Never more than 3 dogs out at once.
Individual Afternoon Walks
Another one-on-one walk before pickup. Every dog gets both walks, every visit.
Calm Pickup
Your dog leaves fulfilled, not exhausted. We are intentionally not cage-free: real rest in a calm, dedicated space is part of good care.
Beegan K9 vs a Typical Cleveland Dog Daycare
| Typical Daycare | Beegan K9 | |
|---|---|---|
| Dogs per group | 10 to 15+ | ✓ 2 to 3 |
| Daily capacity | 30 to 80+ | ✓ 12 maximum |
| Who supervises | Rotating attendants | ✓ Expert Handlers (APDT Members), every day |
| Rest | Little or none | ✓ Built into the day |
| Daily video | Rare | ✓ Yes, every day |
| Owner contact | Front desk | ✓ Direct to your Expert Handler |
Most daycares keep 12 or more dogs crowded into a space this size at all times. At Beegan K9, only 2 to 3 dogs are playing at a time, so every dog has exponentially more room to run and roam each play session.
Dog Daycare Pricing in Cleveland
Beegan K9 is not the cheapest daycare in Cleveland, and that is deliberate. The training expertise, the 12-dog cap, and the attention your dog gets are what you are paying for.

Your dog's evaluation is a complete, complimentary day of daycare. We observe everything: how they settle in the morning, how they respond to structure, how they interact during introductions, their play style, stress signals, and what kind of playgroup will be the best fit for them. By the end of the day, we know your dog. And you'll know exactly what to expect.
Before your dog's first day, the owner calls you personally, not a front desk, to talk through your dog and how they'll fit into our community. It's the part clients tell us they love most.
Standard dog vaccines are required. Full details arrive by email right after you book, along with a short intake form about your dog.
